While we all shelter in place, practice social distancing and adjust to the current new norm, here are some...
Tips for Surviving the Isolation Blues
1. Stick to a routine. Shower daily and get dressed like you normally would for school or work.
2. Get out at least once a day for at least 30 minutes. Walk a dog, explore your neighborhood or a park.
3. Reach out to others at least once daily for 30 minutes. This includes friends and fellow PAH members.
4. Stay hydrated and eat well. Challenge yourself to learn to cook new healthier options.
5. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt and space. Sometimes isolation brings out the worst in pupple.
6. Notice the good in the world, the helpers and caregivers. Try to offer to help others where pawssible.
7. Find an expressive art and go for it. It is a direct path for releasing feelings. Don't be critical of yourself.
8. Find lightness and humor in each day. Appreciate the little things and remember smiles are contagious.
9. Remind yourself daily that this is temporary and you are not alone. We will get through this together.
10. For a full list, contact t.me/alphapupthunder and I'll happily send it to you in PDF format. Woof! ... See MoreSee Less
